Spring  - Aerate the lawn to treat compacted soil

even feeding
- Prune as necessary, don’t cut off the buds that will flower this year
- Apply
mulch to flower beds for weed control
Summer- Water your lawn about 1” per
week to maintain health. Remember deep and infrequent
- Trim hedges back
- Light fertilizing

Autumn- Remember
to cut back on watering when the rain starts
- Fertilize lawn to establish good root system
- Keep
the leaves cleaned up for safety and health of the lawn
- Good time to aerate and overseed

lime to help with moss control
Winter- Great time for most pruning
- Use
a broom to brush snow away from evergreen trees gently, to keep the weight from breaking the limbs
- Avoid
walking on frosted or snow-covered lawns
- Treat moss in late winter
